Block Tales Chapter 2: A Toxic Time
Chapter 2—A Toxic Time (July 6, 2024)—sends you through Plainstown, the Savannah, Ant Hill, Turitopulis, Rugged Rainforest, and Sacred Hollow. Griefer (Brad Thaniyel) is the emotional core of the chapter, and the finale shifts into the Bubonic Plant fight before you earn Venomshank.
You begin in Plainstown. Stop by the airport on the east side to meet Kyoko for optional dialogue. Ant Hill branches from the Savannah—BUX #14 is on the first tunnel ceiling. Enemies hit harder than Roadtown, so buy food before you drop in.
Turitopulis splits into rainforest paths with Flying Mantises and Gaur. Venom Wizards can poison you—heal or cure quickly because poison ticks every turn. BUX #15 is inside the hollow log on the second bridge. BUX #16 is on the giant mushroom cluster (climb vines).
Rugged Rainforest introduces the Komodo Dragon. You can fight it or befriend it; either clears the story, but befriending adds extra dialogue in Sacred Hollow. BUX #17 sits behind the big rock in the nest.
Sacred Hollow ends at Griefer's Crib. The story gives Griefer a real motive before the fight. Phase one is Griefer himself; at zero HP he transforms into Bubonic Plant with new patterns and poison pressure. Venomshank is your reward, great for poison synergy in Chapter 3 onward.
Optional: Supreme Mosquito is a super boss off the main rainforest path. It is much harder than the chapter finale and drops the Investor card. On a first run, skip it and return later with better gear.
