Block Tales Chapter 5: Demo 5
Demo 5 (April 24–25, 2026) is Block Tales’ biggest update: new Chapter 5 story, rewritten early chapters, Cruel King DX, Cassie Aphthiton as a major ally, fresh bosses, cards, extra BUX, and more polish.
You enter Demo 5 right after Chapter 4 and the Temple of the Red Sun arc. Cassie joins midway and adds both story weight and battle help.
Main route bosses include The Magnificent, Reginald, The Trinity, and Frostmaw—each showcases Demo 5 attack pacing. Frostmaw’s ice hits hardest if you ignore defense or food.
The Mutant is the secret boss. After Cassie joins, poke around side corridors instead of hugging the critical path. Expect a warning dialogue before the fight—if you are not stocked, back out and prepare.
Cruel King DX is the remixed Chapter 1 fight with faster patterns and an extra phase. Win it to earn Call: Cruel King. If you already cleared Chapter 1, you can still challenge the DX version without replaying the whole chapter.
Six new BUX live in Demo 5 spaces, often behind optional routes. Card totals grew with Demo 5—watch this site for updates if you are hunting 100% collection.
